4. How We Share Your Information

With Partner Pros

When you submit a quote request, we share your name, contact information, ZIP code, and project details with the Partner Pros we match you to. Partner Pros are independent businesses that use your information to contact you about your project and provide quotes. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.

With service providers

We share information with service providers that help us operate the Services, including hosting, analytics, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, email and SMS delivery, and customer support. These providers are contractually required to use the information only for the purposes we specify.

With advertising and analytics partners

We use third-party analytics and advertising technologies (including Google and Meta Platforms) to measure conversions, retarget website visitors, and improve the relevance of our marketing. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Services and other websites.

For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, necessary to enforce our Terms of Use, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of homeapedia, our users, or the public.

In a business transaction

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this Policy.

5. Communications & TCPA Consent

By submitting your information through our ZIP-code form or quote request, you are expressly consenting to be contacted by homeapedia and by the Partner Pros we match you to by telephone call, text message (SMS), and email at the contact information you provided, including through the use of automatic telephone dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial voice messages, even if your phone number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may revoke this consent at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message, by following the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us as described in Section 11.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, measure traffic and conversions, and serve advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through industry programs such as the DAA WebChoices tool and the NAI opt-out.

Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals, the Services do not currently respond to such signals.

7. Your Nevada Privacy Rights

This Section applies to residents of the State of Nevada and is provided in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) Chapter 603A, including NRS 603A.300 through 603A.360 (Nevada's online privacy law, as amended by Senate Bill 220).

Right to opt out of the sale of covered information

Nevada law allows Nevada residents to submit a verified request directing an operator not to make any sale of any covered information the operator has collected or will collect about the consumer. "Covered information" includes items such as your first and last name, home or physical address, email address, telephone number, Social Security number, and an identifier that allows a specific person to be contacted physically or online.

homeapedia does not sell covered information within the meaning of NRS 603A.340 in exchange for monetary consideration for another person to license or sell that information to additional persons. However, if you are a Nevada resident and wish to submit a verified opt-out request to confirm or document this preference, you may do so by emailing privacy@homeapedia.com with the subject line "Nevada Opt-Out Request" and including your full name, postal address, email address, and the email address or phone number you used when interacting with the Services. We will respond within sixty (60) days of receiving a verified request, with a possible thirty (30)-day extension where reasonably necessary, as permitted under NRS 603A.345.

Sharing with Partner Pros

We note that when you submit a quote request, your information is shared with Partner Pros so they can provide you with quotes. This sharing is directed by you and is necessary to deliver the service you requested; it is not a "sale" for purposes of NRS 603A.340.

8. Data Security & Retention

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, consistent with NRS 603A.210 and applicable industry standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us at privacy@homeapedia.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
